Professor Jong-Ho Lee was once again recognized by Korean government being selected as the awardee of the Presidential medal of honor on the 50th inventors day in May 2015. The inventors day is an annual national commemoration day to recognize those who made significant technological contributions with their own original inventions. The presidential medal of honor entitled "Nok-Jo-Geun-Jeong-Hoon-Jang" (shown as in below) has been granted to only a handful of people whose technological achievements have been benefiting the lives of the Korean people, the nation's economy, and the global enonomy as well. The presidential medal of honor that Professor Lee received was to commemorate Professor Lee's full dedication and contributions to semiconductor industries and Korean economy with his inventions mostly on semiconductor transistor devices. Professor Lee holds patents about 3D bulk FinFET registered in US and Korea. The technologies that Professor Lee invented are now widely applied to variety of semiconductor products for IT, IoT appliations manufactured by top leading semiconductor industries in the globe.
